Bill Dawson Bio

Bill Dawson is Vice President of Business Development and Product Strategy for the Access Products Division of ARRIS. In this role he concentrates on the Division’s product roadmap and how it meets the exolving needs of customers worldwide. He joined ARRIS when the Company acquired C–COR in December, 2007. While at C-COR, Bill was responsible for its HFC Access product line management, a position he held after C-COR acquired Philips broadband in 2002. He joined Philips in 1996, serving in a variety of management positions, before being named Director of Advanced Systems in 2000. Prior to his work at Philips, Dawson spent 2 years at SkyConnect and over 20 years with Texscan, as GM of the Instrument Division, GM of the MSI ad insertion division and VP of Engineering and Business Development. He holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.
