Comings & Goings



Brian Peterson (above) has left his post as vp, corporate communications for Fox Networks, trading in 5 hours of commuting each day for 30 minutes. He’s now heading communications for Esri, the word’s top supplier of geographic information systems data, mapping software and business data. Sol Doten, who was formerly on the affil sales & marketing side, replaces him as vp, communications.



Christina Tancredi (above) has been upped to the newly created position of chief operating officer for Music Choice. Since her start with the company in 1989, she’s been behind the launch of Music Channels, the move to Video On Demand and the interactive network SWRV. As coo Tancredi will head up day-to day ops and strategy of affiliate sales, finance, ad sales, creative and more. Previously, she served as evp.

       

Two promotions at Turner this week: Sandra Dewey (left) is now evp, head of business affairs, for Turner Entertainment Networks and Cartoon Network Originals. Business affairs and production for TNT, TBS, TCM originals, truTV and Cartoon Network Originals now fall under her purview. And Angela Annussek (right) was upped to vp, original programming, for truTV. Most recently she was executive producer and editorial director for the net.

Lastly, as part of a restructuring to include recently acquired sales teams from National Geographic Television, National Geographic Channels International promoted Germaine Deagan Sweet to svp, global content sales. She’ll oversee the global content sales team, whose members are based around the word, and will operate out of the Nat Geo Channel office in London.
