Why Them? Their vocal harmonies may not match those of the Beatles, but this fab four's uncanny ability to harmonize business operations is worth a nod. Perhaps the group’s biggest feat last year was the successful closing of the Adelphia deal and subsequent plans for an IPO. It wasn’t easy. Time Warner won’t make any money off the IPO, with proceeds going to Adelphia creditors, but the MSO will keep an 84% stake in the cable biz and have 90.6% voting control of the new company. That should put Time Warner Cable in a good position to buy more cable properties. Meanwhile, the company has posted strong numbers in recent quarters.
