26. The Turner Brass

Philip Kent

Title: Chmn/CEO, TBS

Mark Lazarus
Title: President, Turner Entertainment Group

Steve Koonin
Title: President, Turner Entertainment Networks

Andy Heller
Title: President, domestic distribution, TBS

Why Them? Andy Heller may build stuff in his spare time, but he and his Turner bosses do plenty of building during work hours as well. Under Philip Kent's expert leadership, the Turner cable family is one of the industry’s most successful, as TNT, TBS and Court TV each reach over 87 million households. TNT consistently ranks in the weekly top 5 for prime ratings, and Court TV continues to develop an admirable following. Broadband is another arena in which Turner has achieved solid results, especially in regards to GameTap, its video game platform that also offers short form content from its sibling nets. Koonin was recently rewarded for his own excellence, adding TCM and Court TV to his purview. - CH
