28. Fox Trot

Tony Vinciquerra

Title: President/CEO, Fox Networks Group
Years in Industry: 32
Years left in the industry: “As many as I'm allowed...”

Lindsay Gardner
Title: President, affiliate sales and marketing, Fox Cable Networks
Age: 46
Years in Industry: 24
Years left in the industry: 24

Why Them? Tony Vinciquerra and Lindsay Gardner continue to drive the Fox family of brands into the stratosphere. Meanwhile, the bulging sports stable counts multiple stallions, led by super stud FSN, which trailed only ESPN and ESPN2 in ’05 gross ad rev, according to Kagan. Speed. Fox College Sports and Fox Soccer Net also figure prominently on Kagan’s list, and the upstart Big Ten Net will likely join them when it launches next year. As Vinciquerra cited the triple play's effectiveness as the biggest surprise of ’06, it’s really no surprise that Fox’s large bundle of cable offerings has been equally effective. Fox's influence just seems to grow every year. - CH
