33. The Arms Dealers

John Chambers

Title: CEO, Cisco’s Scientific-Atlanta unit

Dan Moloney

Geoff Roman

Why Them: Cable buys a lot of weapons here. John Chambers and Jim MacDonald are successfully integrating S-A into Cisco’s matrix while Dan Moloney and Geoff Roman work to add portability to the mix with Motorola's “Follow Me” concept. Meanwhile, David Woodle has put together an impressive “end-to-end” story over at C-COR (and made a big splash at SCTE this year). When it comes to arms dealers, no one can dispute these guys are heavy hitters. - MG
