86. Here, Queer and Growing

Paul Colichman
Title: Founder/CEO, here! Networks
Age: 43

Brian Graden
Title: President, Logo

Last year: NR

Why Them? Turns out Bravo! is in fact not the network for gay and lesbian viewers after all. That designation belongs to these two newcomers, which are both connected to established multimedia entities. Graden, who also programs Logo sister networks MTV, VH1 and CMT, aims to attract eyeballs—and advertisers—with a heavy slate of films plus original series and telecasts of events like the GLAAD Media Awards. Colichman, who also co-runs Regent Entertainment, launched here! with a multiplatform distribution strategy that encompasses VOD, PPV and a subscription network as a way to get the company’s extensive library of programming out to its target audience. He farms out most of here!’s production to Regent and is actively acquiring international shows with an eye to an international network launch. - CAO
