Steve Caldero has distinguished himself with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the Consumer Electronics and entertainment technology industries.

In February 2005, Caldero returned to his retail roots in the Consumer Electronics Industry by accepting a position as Vice President of Sales with Ken Crane’s Home Entertainment City, the leading Independent Home Entertainment Audio/Video Retailer in Southern California.  Steve expects to bring his passion for Home Entertainment back to the retail sales floor and wishes to offer to consumers the ultimate home entertainment experience. Ken Crane’s is a ten-store retail chain in Southern California that has been in continuous operation since 1948.

Prior to joining Ken Crane’s, Caldero was with Yamaha Electronics Corporation, where he played a principal role in strengthening the company’s performance and brand recognition.  Formerly its Vice President of Sales, Caldero also held various managerial positions at the regional and national levels and had been responsible for sales and marketing strategies.  Prior to joining Yamaha in 1985, Caldero held positions with Nautilus Recordings, the Loran Corporation and the consumer division of JBL.

Caldero serves on the 2008 CEA Executive Board, the PARA Board as Chairman, and on the Audio Board as a retail Member, on the Board of Industry Leaders of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and is the past Chair of the CEA’s Audio Division Board. Caldero has served on the PARA Manufacturers Advisory Council and the PARA Board as the Associate Representative.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Los Angeles, is a native of Southern California, father of three and resides in Playa Vista, California with his wife Sabrina.  His out of the office activities include work for the City of Hope and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His hobbies include golf, boating, and cooking.
