Alticast Partners with S&T
Alticast and S&T have announced a strategic software partnership for next generation HDTV integrated digital TV and set-top box software. The partnership will target IPTV, MHEG5, MHP and Blu-ray markets.
Broadview Picks Acme Packet
Broadview Networks has selected Acme Packet's Net-Net session border controllers (SBCs) as it expands its business-focused VoIP network and services. Broadview is using the Acme Packet NextSBC Reassurance Program through Acme Packet's integration partner, Solunet. Broadview has chosen Acme Packet's SBCs to provide the critical security and control features Broadview requires for both its hosted IP services and VoIP peering with other service providers.
DirecTV Deploys Tandberg
DirecTV has deployed the Tandberg Television WatchPoint Workflow System to enable its new multi-platform on-demand service including set-top, Web and mobile content. WatchPoint offers service providers and programmers visibility and control in creating and executing their digital media strategies. DirecTV's new on-demand service will launch this fall and will offer customers access to thousands of titles, including movies, music and popular television shows through the DirecTV Plus HD DVR.
