CEA Names Engadget CES Blog Partner

AOL announced last week that the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) selected Engadget as the Official Blog Partner of the 2010 International CES to be held January 7-10, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In tandem with the show, Engadget will launch new mobile applications for the BlackBerry and Palm webOS devices that will join the site's just-released iPhone app.

As part of the Official Blog Partnership, Engadget, which was recently voted as the blog of the decade as part of an AdweekMedia poll, will provide ongoing news coverage of the hottest products from more than 2,500 CES exhibitors at the 2010 International CES.

“CEA’s choice of Engadget as the Official Blog Partner of CES further cements the site as the premiere voice in consumer electronics coverage,” Joshua Topolsky, editor-in-chief, Engadget, said in a statement. “We will cover this year’s show with the fast-paced, up-to-the-minute reporting that has made Engadget the market leader and final word in the world of technology journalism”

Along with the show’s kickoff, Engadget will be launching new Blackberry and Palm Pre (webOS) mobile applications. The two apps will join Engadget’s just-released iPhone application and will include galleries, video, news and more.
