RCN to Serve TheWit Hotel in Chicago

RCN Corp. announced today the signing of a multi-year contract with the Lincolnshire-based development firm ECD Co. to provide digital cable TV and HDTV services to guest rooms at theWit, a newly constructed four-star hotel located at the corner of State and Lake Streets in Chicago. RCN will deliver video to the facility's 298 guest rooms.

In other RCN news, RCN Metro Optical Networks has selected Infinera Digital Optical Network to enhance capacity and capabilities in its mid-Atlantic regional network. Headquartered in New York, RCN Metro is a provider of communications services, offering businesses and carriers a suite of facilities-based network solutions.
