TV One Has 'Home Court Advantage' for DNC Coverage

TV One, which plans to provide extensive coverage of the four-day Democratic National Convention in Denver, won't have to travel far to deliver those programs to its viewers. The channel originates from the Denver-based Comcast Media Center and will take advantage of the CMC's direct fiber link to the Denver Pepsi Center and production facilities for creating its convention programs. TV One has leased the CMC's 3,500 square-foot "East 3" studio for its exclusive use during the Convention and can access the CMC's 6,400 square foot "town hall" HD Studio if required. The CMC's Content Distribution Operations Center will deliver live feeds from downtown Denver to the studio, which will host TV One's live coverage of the Convention. The CMC also offers state-of-the-art video and audio editing capabilities.
