ActiveVideo Hires VP/GM

ActiveVideo Networks has named Jason Harvey vice president and general manager of programming strategy and operations. Harvey joins ActiveVideo Networks from Google, for which he drove vertical business planning and strategy and management for new media and online sales in Latin America. With ActiveVideo Networks, Harvey will be responsible for maximizing the business potential of the ActiveVideo Distribution Network, including the acquisition, carriage and monetization of content.
