DirecTV Offers Local HD Programming in PA, GA

DirecTV is now offering local HD programming to customers in the Johnstown-Altoona, PA, and Augusta, GA, designated market areas. DirecTV hopes to add additional HD stations as they become available. With the addition of Johnstown-Altoona and Augusta, DirecTV says it now offers local HD broadcast channels in 82 cities, representing more than 77 percent of U.S. TV households. The DBS provider plans to add 39 more HD local channel markets by the end of 2008 and currently offers more than 130 HD channels.

Big Deal!
Broadcasters have been offering HDTV (of more networks than D*) for years, in nearly every market. And, it doesn\'t cost you a dime, every month.
