Blonder Tongue to Demo D/A Processor
Blonder Tongue Laboratories will be debuting and demonstrating the most recent addition to its digital product line, the Digital to Analog Processor, or DAP for short. The DAP is a single channel solution for delivering digital TV programming over existing analog networks. The DAP is designed as a transition unit for existing analog over-the-air channel processors to ensure uninterrupted delivery of over-the-air signals from new digital broadcast sources. The DAP permits operators the ability to embrace the approaching FCC mandated Feb. 17, 2009, digital transition deadline. The unit supports the decoding of all 18 ATSC standard formats including 8-VSB or QAM Annex B. (Expo booth 1412)
