Lifetime Moving Corp Comm/PR West
Lifetime PR Leaving Apple
Lifetime has decided to move its corp comm and PR staffs to its Century City office. The move becomes effective Jan 1 and will hit roughly 20 jobs. Veteran PR hand Meredith Wagner has agreed to move to California, a memo from Lifetime chief Andrea Wong said. The text of the Wong memo, sent to Lifetime department heads earlier today, is below.
As many of you have heard, today we are announcing some geographic restructuring, which will unite various departments and functions in Los Angeles in order to build a stronger and more vibrant organization. While I feel confident that these moves are critical to the company's growth and continued success, I know they will also be very difficult for many of the impacted employees and their families and I am appreciative in advance of their support for this decision and the grace and passion with which they have always demonstrated at Lifetime Networks.
The relocations, effective January 1, will involve the entire Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Department, much of the Research Department, with the exclusion of those functions which support the Sales team, as well as several positions including within the Business and Legal Affairs group. I am very pleased that Mike Greco and Meredith Wagner have agreed to relocate to Los Angeles and lead their teams from our Century City office. Along with these moves will inevitably come some restructuring, but it is my sincere hope that as many people as possible among the affected departments will consider relocation, if appropriate.
Please feel free to share this email with your staffs and assure them that the Department Heads and the Human Resources Department will be available to employees 24/7 to address their questions and concerns.
