Premium online service covering cable programming goes live.
CableFAX parent company Access Intelligence today launched Content Business (www.cablefaxcontentbusiness.com), an online premium service featuring proprietary coverage of cable content, ratings, programming, distribution and advertising trends.
CableFAX Content Business is led by Michael Grebb and Seth Arenstein, veteran editors for CableFAX Daily and CableFAX: The Magazine. It will be updated daily with news and analysis related to cable content and will include exclusive data from partners Nielsen, Rentrak, ComScore, Big Champagne and others, tracking consumer consumption of cable content on multiple platforms, including linear TV, video on demand and the Web.
Among Content Business’ features: a Cable Show Database that includes details on hundreds of cable shows, and columns by Tim Brooks, former EVP of research for Lifetime Television, Sean Cunningham, president and CEO of the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau (CAB), and John Zamoiski, co-CEO of NMA Entertainment & Marketing and chairman of the Promotion Marketing Association Education Foundation.
“Content Business gives cable executives a trusted editorial platform to follow the money in the cable business, where content is king and the deals are critical,” notes Diane Schwartz, vice president and group publisher of the CableFAX group. “This premium service is a timely complement to CableFAX Daily, which has been breaking the news and keeping people connected for nearly two decades.”
