Indianapolis Students Rosin Up the Bow

More than 800 first- and second-year band and string students from 40 Indianapolis Public Schools elementary schools performed recently at the annual Bright House Networks-VH1 Save the Music Foundation Celebration Concert at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. The concert is a celebration of the financial support Bright House Networks and the VH1 Save the Music Foundation provide to create new music education programs in IPS schools that have none. The elementary music students were joined by the Broad Ripple High School Performing Arts Magnet, Concert Band and Orchestra.
