Why Him? A devout exponent of multi-platform content, Bratches has been instrumental in driving ESPN toward its goal of serving sports fans regardless of their consumption method. The sports leader is virtually peerless when it comes to cross-promotion (viewer email on TV, for example) and offering manifold viewing/listening options through labyrinthine and comprehensive espn.com. Indeed, you’re more likely to hear Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones speaking modestly than to find an ESPN sales and marketing deal that doesn’t include rights to just about every platform.
