Remember that first-ever nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System back in Nov of 2011? The FCC does, and it released a report Fri describing what was learned during the test, which included more than 16K broadcasters, cable ops and other participants. The FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau, which issued the report, is calling for another national test after more work is done on the system.
