Symmetricom Picked in Korea
SK Broadband, a Korean cable operator, has selected Symmetricom's DOCSIS Timing Interface (DTI) Server to enable the deployment of 150 Mbps broadband cable services. Symmetricom's TimeCreator 1000, a DTI Compliant Server qualified by CableLabs, provides the time and frequency synchronization for delivery of the new broadband cable services.
SK Broadband's installation of TimeCreator is being provided by Sys Cable, a Symmetricom distributor. This is the first large-scale deployment of Symmetricom's DTI Server by an international operator.
