ActiveVideo Picks Internap

Internap Network Services' Performance IP network and data center colocation are powering services from ActiveVideo Networks to enable delivery of Web-infused TV programming via existing set-top boxes and Web-connected consumer electronics devices.

ActiveVideo streams Web video, Web 2.0 functionality and traditional television onto a single TV screen. The company selected Internap to build out a custom data center and network configuration to support programming in North America, Europe and Asia.

Internap offers a bundled solution of networking and data center colocation that comes with a 100 percent performance service level agreement (SLA). The Performance IP platform is designed to monitor Internet performance and automatically select the best path for content to travel.
