DirecTV Expands Local HD Offerings

DirecTV is now offering local HD programming to customers in the Rockford, IL; El Paso, TX; Des Moines-Ames, IA; La Crosse-Eau Claire, WI; Peoria-Bloomington, IL; and Fort Wayne, IN, designated market areas. The company now offers local HD broadcast channels in 115 cities, representing more than 87 percent of U.S. TV households.
