Tandberg UEQAM to Support Privacy Mode Encryption
Tandberg Television's universal edge QAM, the EQ8096, is designed support Privacy Mode Encryption to provide an added layer of protection and an easy-to-implement content protection system for on-demand services such as VOD. The EQ8096 universal Edge QAM is designed to offer unprecedented density, high reliability, low power consumption, and designed-in redundancy features. It supports DOCSIS 3.0, M-CMTS and DVB Common Scrambling Algorithm and SimulCrypt. It features up to 96 QAM channels in an integrated two rack-unit chassis.
