A Hammer and Howe!

Name: Bonnie Hammer
Title: President, USA Network/Sci Fi Channel
Age: “I was told there'd be no math questions.”
Years in Industry: 20 +
Years left in Industry: “Why, what have you heard?”

Name: David Howe
Title: EVP/GM, Sci Fi Channel
Age: 45
Years in Industry: 20

Why Them? If only Bonnie Hammer would screw up so we’d have something juicy to write about... A year after “Psych” became cable’s top-rated original new series, USA’s “Burn Notice” has taken the honor in ’07. Boring. Meanwhile, USA seems to attract Emmy nominations as easily as it attracts ratings (10 nominations for “The Starter Wife”? Sweet). Can anything stop this USA machine? Not with Hammer in charge. David Howe, meanwhile, has grown an incredible brand at Sci Fi Channel, keeping it fresh with original movies and series. Howe does he do it?  MG
